It's been 11 YEARS since Lakeside Bar & Grill became North Peoria's favorite neighborhood gathering spot! 1. How long has Lakeside been in the community?
Lakeside Bar & Grill has been the NW Valley's favorite gathering place for 11 years, serving the Upper West Side since May, 2008.
2. How have you been a staple of the community?
When Lakeside opened 11 years ago, the restaurant was one of the few stops on the way to Lake Pleasant and one of the few locally-owned establishments. We became the neighborhood anchor that the community could count on to be family-friendly and fun to dine at. 11 years later, we've held true to our commitment to provide great food and service. Last year we underwent a major renovation and updated the menu with new food and beverage options to meet the demands of the growing and changing community. Now we have something for everyone! You can come to Lakeside to enjoy a family dinner or an adult night out. You can join us to indulge in a 1/2lb burger or keep it healthier with salmon and grilled veggies. We've enjoyed seeing the area grow and develop and are proud to be one the original Upper West Side businesses!
We're a true local business, owned and operated by local Valley residents. We're incredibly grateful for the support of the surrounding community over the past 11 years and are always happy to give back to our neighbors. One of the ways we do that is through fundraising nights, where we donate a percentage of food and non-alcoholic beverage sales to an organization, person, or family in need. Our fundraising nights have benefited the local police and fire departments, schools, and even our own team members when needed. When tragedy struck a member of our team in the form of a devastating house fire, Lakeside Bar & Grill held a fundraising night with proceeds going to help the family rebuild their home.
We have been an Upper West Side PHX supporter since the very beginning and love the renewed sense of community pride that has come from the movement! We are always looking to support local!
3. Anything else you think makes Lakeside unique?
Almost all of our menu items are prepared in house from scratch! We make our own batter and hand-batter our fish every week for our All-You-Can-Eat Friday Fish Fry. From our jalapeno jam and guacamole to our bread pudding with whiskey caramel sauce, and so much more - all of it is made right in our kitchen by our talented team!
We have a real airplane glider hanging from our ceiling! Just look up when you walk into the dining room!
We have events and specials every night of the week, plus daily Happy Hour, so you know that there will always be something fun happening at Lakeside!
